It's all the SAME DIFFERENT shit

So i was realizing I listen to all my music in excessive two month long phases, and at the same time realized it pretty much sums up a large portion of my character.
I'll find some type of music i start to enjoy and obsessively search online for at least twenty songs in that genre to last me for the next 2 months that i will listen to nonstop. The thing about these few songs is i like to make sure they are not the most widely listen to songs at the time, but my likings tend to be geared towards mainstream cultured beats and riffs that will eventually catch the general attention of many.

as a result Then as the other people start listening to those songs my two month phase is about ready to come to an end and i grow tired of the songs as everyone starts playing them on a ridiculous scale.
lol i guess this made me generalize my self as someone who enjoys being different but not by being technically "different"(if that makes any sense), but instead by doing/having what everyone else eventually lusts just before that J curve begins to peak, and then naturally as a teenager living in our generation i grow bored of the same ol' pretty quickly and discovery for something new ensues.

i guess this can explain alot of what i like and dislike.

for some reason these are the first examples coming to mind

Altamont - clothing company that for the most part makes clothing similar to all the current brands out there, however they are in extremely limited quantities and i pretty much only know kullen as another person who has a couple of their clothes.

LA Lakers - I sort of don't like the lakers because they are a pretty arrogant team and play like it, they have kobe, they have pau gasol who i think is the biggest cry baby in all of basketball, lamar odom who everyone thinks is good even though he manages like 5ppg, - they are expected to win every game they play, so when you root for them as a fan, and they win, it's kinda like yeah that was expected. Not to mention that everyone in Southern California thinks they are a lakers fan and its like one giant bandwagon. O and i think this is chetans favorite team?? Somehow though i find myself obligated to semi cheer for the lakers who were once a big part of my NBA phase that I've almost entirely slipped out of.

OKC THUNDER - On the other side of the spectrum is the OKC Thunder. Here is how i describe the Thunder, the "Dominant Underdog". Why? because the thunder are fucking good and everyone knows it, but yet they still have a chip on their shoulder like an underdog always does. They play like they have something to prove to the world, and play with the composure and dedication i only see in College basketball. In short they want it and play with heart. Then there is Kevin Durant. And he has become my favorite player because he falls under my category for what i "like". First off he is a fucking boss on the court and it's not like no one knows of Durant. He is undoubtedly one of the top 3 basketball players in the league today, and was scoring champ this year to prove that. But at the same time the name Durant is not synonymous with talks following players like KOBE LEBRON or DWADE. So in a way yeah Durant's still unknown but at the same time he is still doing work and a big name on the playing field. Just like how the Thunder had one of the best records in the league and were proven fighters, but at the same time they were the unknowns and underdogs against the lakers.

My car - Who DOESn't know about the First ever Pony Car to start them alll and who doesn't want one!?? and then WHOO has a 65 or 66 Mustang Fastback? (you can probably only think of one name)

So i guess to sum it all up I reallly really like the Same thing as everyone else out there, so long as it's Different. Because It's probably Popular for a reason, but hey do you really wanna be like everyone else?

anyways to expand on the spring break post by kullen. I pretty much devised the most genius plan ever.

Skate one day, then get fucked up the next. then skate the next day. gotta follow up each day with some physical activity so i dont feel like a lazy ass.

Nevermind that fact that We will probably all still pay for the same healthcare plans we have now, and just pay for taxes so that some mexicans can finally get some medical treatment. Found out why i devoted like 8 years to enjoying the pasttime that is basketball. It's still actually pretty fun. Realizing the real reason i like basketball along with anything else i do is that im pretty good at it, plus whenever i run and play some bitch who clearly thinks he's good and they're not, its like the most satisfying thing in the world to just shit on their world. ... going along with this same concept, something about me only finds shit fun that im good at. I honestly dont know how people are able to have fun doing something they're terrible at, doesnt make any sense. If i suck at something i just ignore it, but at the same time everyone has got to start at the bottom and work up so there is sort of a complex here. I guess i could say that if you do something, and you never become pretty good at it after some time, then how the fuck is that not just super frustrating.


* i think that's about it, O and Kid Cudi's fucking beast. was kinda w/e about his flow before, but its pretty damn sick, Chill shit i guess is the best way to describe his flow.

School is still balls, late starts pretty sick, but still school. Also upset that school isnt giving me free fifth and second because i literally go to those classes everyday and have free period, so idk why i cant just chill outside or something. Also im pretty much a failure at education, if i ever succeed in school it'll be because i found a way to beat the system and by no means because i tried hard and studied - unfortunately. 3 tests tomorrow, fun shit, my study method is usually dont study and be so assure of myself that a key/cheatsheet will magically appear with all the answers. It's actually gotten to the point where if we dont have a cheatsheet or some answer key I get like upset like wtf, how come i dont have the answers. lol

So i am watching the olympics right now, and I have decided that the winter Olympics are pretty similar to facebook. yes, I have the tv on channel four right now, and yes some sort of winter sport is going on like ice skating ( which really isnt a winter sport, it's just really cold, minus the fact that it's indoors and in a completely controlled enviornment that exists during the summer) but no one's really paying attention to it, like i might occasionally glance up at whats going on, but it's sort like a teacher lecturing where i dont really give a shit/ remember what they are saying, but ill hear every word. just like how ill have open facebook in my tab for the whole time im online, but im never really looking/checking anything important it's just sort of there.

Constitutes into a reality of three days of fuckk what the hell did i do. hahaha. I think today had to have been my first real weekend day of thinking afterwards, Wow , i literally did nothing all day. usually i do semi something that allows me to ignore this conclusion but not today. We were literally doing NOthing that i had the time to just drive josh around trying to get cigs. Then after when we found puneet, it was much of the same. to add to the nothingness i think josh and I just sat around and played Modern warefare 2 for 6 hours.

It's kinda Funny, but mostly ironic, how 2 months ago I was pretty prideful in believing we were the only bunch of friends who in general stirred away from any alcohol or tainting substances. Honestly it's pretty damn more impressive to say nahh i do not do that shit, than to give in, but when reality kicks, you opt for the latter.

Hopefully we will celebrate washington a little better.

And i thought retiring the sub, meant no more, I guess not, lol. I think i need to get some more intoxicants and book a few parties so i have somewhere and some excuse to stay away.

Friday night january 23, 2010, pretty much did some work. i guess i chilled with sean nick and josh, and the beginning of the day was slow as usual, josh and I just played some COD online while nick and sean played quarters together for some reason.

Then some insane shit went down at TC, this fool in a lifted f150 did TWO complete DRIFTS AROUND THE FOUNTAIN, like right when we showed up and were walking by the fountain, boom this nigga just comes around does two of the sickest drits ive ever seen. His tail was out and shit, some tokyo drift shit, and in TC around that fountain damn, mad props.

O and this whole night for some reason i thought it was going to be super sick to get into a fight, but things didnt pan out.

On the way to the game, i decided to take the suburban off roading again after my lunch time adventures, this time i did two donuts on the grass hahahah, shit was dope and sketch cause the grass was so swamp like. pretty much powerslide a few turns as well after being inspired by the f150.


Ait so after that we went to the basketball game, whatevers, and then sean left and that's when we started to get insane amounts of money. drove over to mcdonalds and nick ordered two mcchickens with extra spit, but they didnt get the order right, because they forgot the spit. then we went to molca, got some tacos, and then Josh threw his horchata at some bitches in the rav4 next to us, and then they followed us mad stat down harbor, bastanchury, and euclid till i lost them. HAHAH direct hit on the driver side window too.

After evading them bitches i think we decided to go carfishing, but no luck on anything worthwhile, except for this faceplate that josh just threw at a car.

then we stopped by josh's pad and decided to put flaming shit on a house porch again, this time though josh and nick tried shitting in the bag. LOL . Josh couldnt muster one, and nick fucking shit the smallest amount into the bag. hahaha. so we just went to josh's and got some dog shit.
Lit that bag on fire and it burned pretty good in front of the house, but no one came out probably because it was so damn early in the morning.

After the dog shit adventure i think we decided we wanted eggs to throw at people, except nothing was open at all at like 2 30 am. So nick had to go to an AMPM, and steal eggs lol. when he went in there he couldn't find them at first so he asked the dude where they were at, and grabbed the only two cartons and ran to my car. lol.
The best part though is that while egging, hitting up the Benz's there was this asian dude just standing on the curb at gilbert and rosecranz, we passed him at first and drove around a bit, but came back like 3 min later and this fool was still there, so right as we drove right next to him josh and nick threw an egg at him. Nick's missed, but Josh hit this guy in the chin, straight in the chin! ahhahahhahaha, i didnt see it, but according to nick and josh it was the funniest thing they had ever seen. After hitting this guy i wanted to get my boys Smart car. We hoped out the car each grabbed two eggs and while we were throwing them the dude shouts Hey, and we just sprint for the car and Josh says to " drive faster than you've ever driven before" lol.

after doing this and a little more that i can't say we called it a night.
